Sebelumnya, Grammy 2022 dijadwalkan digelar di Los Angeles pada Januari 2022. Namun karena pandemi COVID-19, Grammy diundur dan dilaksanakan di Las Vegas.
Olivia Rodrigo berjaya dengan berhasil menyabet penghargaan sebagai Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, dan Best Pop Vocal Album untuk lagu drivers license. Sementara itu, Bruno Mars dan Silk Sonic mendapatkan penghargaan bergengsi Grammy kategori Record of the Year hingga Song of the Year berkat lagu Leave the Door Open.
