IntipSeleb – Ajang penghargaan 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards 2020 resmi digelar pada Rabu, 13 Januari 2021 tanpa adanya penonton sekaligus aksi panggung untuk meminimalisir risiko potensi penyebaran virus corona (COVID-19). Lantas daftar lengkap pemenangnya lagi-lagi didominasi oleh IU, BTS, Blackpink, NCT, hingga Baekhyun EXO.
Para pemenang membawakan pidato masing-masing lewat video yang sudah direkam dari jauh-jauh hari. Untuk penentuan penerima trofi penghargaan, didasarkan pada data Gaon Chart selama 30 hari setelah lagu dirilis, terhitung dari Desember 2019 hingga November 2020. Penentuan Pemenang di 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards 2020
Gaon Chart Music Awards memiliki daftar nominasi yang cukup banyak. Mulai dari yang tertinggi yakni Artist of the Year terbagi menjadi musik digital dan album fisik. Namun penghargaan ini tidak memiliki kategori Daesang, yang biasanya dimiliki oleh ajang lain.
Artist of the Year (musik digital) memiliki total 12 pemenang karena mewakilkan setiap bulan sepanjang satu tahun penuh. Sedangkan Artist of the Year (album fisik) memiliki empat pemenang yang dipilih dari perilisan setiap kuartal (3 bulan) sepanjang tahun 2020, di mana sepenuhnya berdasarkan pada data Gaon Chart berselang enam minggu setelah album dirilis.
Selain itu, nominasi yang tidak kalah bergengsi meliputi Rookie of the Year, Discovery of the Year, The Social Hot Star, dan masih banyak lagi. Penghargaan pun tidak hanya diberikan kepada musisi saja tapi juga jajaran public figure yang bekerja di bidang musik.
